One Network for Today’s Digital Mines – Mine Site Technologies specialises in the supply of purpose built technology for underground mine communication and tracking, as well as advanced wireless mesh communication infrastructure for open pit and other surface mines.
Mine Site Technologies (MST) is a global communications leader with 23 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and deployment of critical, high quality, solutions for mine communications, vehicle and personal monitoring, production optimization, and safety. Founded in Australia in 1989 MST deployed the first commercially available PED (Personal Emergency Device) using TTE (Through the Earth) technology in 1990. Since then MST has developed a suite of complementary technologies to deliver total mine communication solutions. These technologies range from VDV Leaky Feeder Radio Systems to the newest Wi-Fi (IP) based ImPact “One Network” Digital System. These solutions are deployed at hundreds of mines around the world.
Our vision is to be the partner of choice for underground and surface mining communications infrastructure, world-wide. We are accomplishing this through the creation of innovative fit-for-purpose network components and systems designed specifically for the mining industry.
