I&E Electric and Mine Site Technologies form strategic partnership

Mine Site Technologies Inc. (MST) is pleased to announce the formation of a strategic partnership I&E Electric Inc. (I&E) to better serve the communications and electrical needs of the mining and metals sector in Nevada and the surrounding regions.    I&E Electric Inc (I&E), founded in 1991, is a systems integrator and industrial electrical contractor, providing comprehensive electrical and instrumentation contracting services and solutions to the mining, industrial and commercial industries. I&E is based in Elko, Nevada USA and has 22 direct employees.

Both Companies count Newmont and Barrick mines among their largest installations of infrastructure and applications.  MST will be co-locating personnel with I&E at existing facilities in Elko, NV, and the products, service and support offerings from both companies will be complementary.

MST’s portfolio of communications infrastructure, such as network switches, digital 802.11 systems, on-vehicle data logging devices, and leaky feeder systems, coupled with industry-leading applications such as tracking, tagging, vehicle intelligence and automation, dovetails well with I&E’s specialist engineering and electrical contracting services. MST’s Integrated Communications Cap Lamp (ICCL) also brings together multiple communications technologies. The two Companies working together will bring more complete electrical and communications solutions to their customers, with the increasing critical mass ensuring that customer satisfaction is enhanced and operational outcomes fully achieved. The applications and products from MST will strengthen I&E’s existing, quality project and service offering to local mines and build upon strong relationships that have been in place for many years. In addition, MST personnel offer network design services, so an end-to-end electrical and communications solution can be delivered from a single point – from concept and design, through to staging, installation, maintenance and monitoring.
