A better way to have a blast at Inco South Mine

Not our words, but those in the Inco Limited News Letter reporting on the BlastPED installation at their South Mine.

The recent installation of BlastPED has been very well received at South Mine, as outlined in their "Incontact News Letter" (link provided below).

The BlastPED system includes ten remote BlastPED Receiver/Exploder units (pictured below) that will allow initiation of blast areas throughout the mine from a centrally located PC on the surface. Though a very large mine, with over one hundred kilometers of drives, complete signal coverage from the PED transmission system is achieved with only a single, 11 km (36,000 ft), antenna.

We are very appreciative of Inco's support of our PED technology, and look forward to the opportunity to be able to work with them at some of their other mining operations.
